A scale model for The Future of Amstelland
Proposition for the construction of a noise barrier made of the medium
that was the source of noise pollution in the first place: cars.
The noise barrier consists of stacked parking spaces with a special design, providing enough room for a car, but also additional space,
and on top of that a private balcony with a view of Amstelland.
Parking and leisure are combined. Everybody can rent or buy his own space at Amstelland and so obtain his own space at the edge of Amstelland, from where it can be viewed and entered.
